Tara Powers Chosen as Keynote Speaker for Women in the Green Industry Event

 

Powers Resource Center CEO to Train Attendees on Effective Communication Techniques

Boulder, Colo., August 29, 2016 – Tara Powers, CEO of Powers Resource Center, a Boulder-based employee engagement, talent development and leadership training company, has been chosen as a keynote speaker for the Women in the Green industry event, to be held September 15-18, 2016 in Kansas City, MO. The event is designed to bring together and support women professionals in the green building and landscaping industry. This is the second year in a row she has been chosen to speak.

Powers will present a general session workshop for more than 150 women on identifying your individual communication style and using techniques to build trust and engagement with all communications styles.

“I am so proud to be chosen again as a keynote speaker for the Women in the Green event,” said Powers. “This event combines two of my favorite things – training women professionals to achieve more success, and training on effective communication techniques to influence, build trust, empower, and energize people and teams.”

The four-day event includes general sessions, breakout classes, hands-on product training and keynote speakers for women in all aspects of the green landscaping and building industry.
