We know that most of your leaders want to stay connected – to each other and their teams.

Today’s Fast-Paced Business Climate and Digital Culture is Getting in the Way and Traditional Leadership Development Won’t Cut It

If the pace of change and disruption is interfering with human connection….

If the “always on” expectations of work are negatively impacting your leaders….

Let us show your leaders through our leadership development programs how to leverage technology while improving their emotional intelligence and empathy to truly create a culture of connection.

When staying connected to technology has taken priority over staying connected to the people your leaders are charged to inspire, it won’t be long before your business results suffer. If this sounds familiar to you, our leadership development programs can reset that balance and show leaders how to create real human connection that will get amazing results.

DARE TO LEAD PROGRAM

Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program designed to be facilitated by organizational development professionals.

The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable. The Dare to Lead™ program focuses on developing these courage-building skills through workshops, trainings, and coaching to help individuals, teams, and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership.

Program Focus and Outcomes:

  • Determine your call to courage as a leader.
  • Define vulnerability as uncertainty, risk, and emotional exposure.
  • Understand the role of courage and vulnerability in daring leadership.
  • Challenge old definitions and dispel the myths surrounding the concept of vulnerability.
  • Understand and begin to utilize the metaphor of the arena to examine the challenges associated with feeling vulnerable or with engaging in behaviors that lead to uncertainty, risk, and emotional exposure.

Individuals who successfully complete the full 16-hour Dare to Lead program will receive a certificate of completion and can add a Dare to Lead Trained badge on their LinkedIn account.

WORK OF LEADERS

The work that leaders do—the work that really matters—is boiled down to three areas: crafting a vision, building alignment, and championing execution. Vision, Alignment, and Execution are “magic words.” They strike a chord that turns the goal of leadership into tangible steps. Of course, there’s a lot of skill that goes into implementing each of these steps.

The Work of Leaders uses a simple framework that is broken down into three key things effective leaders do at each step and describes specific behaviors for each.

  • Crafting a Vision: imagining an improved future state that the group will make a reality through its work.
  • Building Alignment: getting to the point where everyone in the group understands and is committed to the vision.
  • Championing Execution: ensuring that the conditions are present for the imagined future to be turned into a reality.

We’ll work with your leaders to assess strengths and opportunities in implementing these steps and generate powerful conversations that provide a clear path for action.

VIRTUAL LEADER EFFECTIVENESS PROGRAM

Building relationships and team cohesion virtually takes a different set of leadership skills.

Our VLEP focuses on helping virtual leaders engage in team communication methods that build trust, provides options for addressing conflict and building consensus across time zones and teaches collaboration best practices using technology. And of course – it’s 100% virtual.

Tara Powers wrote the book on preparing managers to lead virtual teams – literally. Check out how we can train and develop your virtual team leaders – and the executives who oversee virtual teams – at virtualteamacademy.com.
