She’ll be the judge of that! PRC CEO Tara Powers to Judge Excellence Awards for 6th Straight Year
September 7, 2020

One happy result of being an expert in your field is getting involved in fun and inspiring ways in your industry.
We are proud to announce that PRC CEO Tara Powers was chosen as a judge for the Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards for the sixth year in a row. The program recognizes the best learning programs, strategies and tools that have earned measurable results and is considered the most prestigious awards program in the industry.
Specifically, Powers will judge the 2020 HCM Excellence in Technology Award this fall, which is highly relevant as technology is the most significant driver in the advancements in learning programs. Given her research and expertise on virtual teams, Powers is an ideal choice to judge this award category. Powers is the author of Virtual Teams for Dummies, and her follow-up title Working From Home for Dummies will be released mid-September.
Powers has a long relationship with Brandon Hall. She has been a guest on their weekly podcast HCMx Radio titled Working Virtually, and she has been on the receiving end of a Brandon Hall Excellence Award.
All judges for the Excellence Awards are senior-level industry subject matter experts and executive leaders with a minimum of 12 years of leadership experience in the subject area. Often referred to as the “Academy Awards” by Learning, Talent and Business Executives, the 2020 Excellence Awards was one of the first of its kind in the learning industry, which was pioneered in 1994.
