PRC Launches Virtual Team Academy
August 15, 2019

It’s pretty clear we are passionate about virtual teams at PRC.
We see the growth of virtual teams every day – and the problems that arise if the right tools aren’t in place. Virtual teams are created for a variety of reasons: to leverage technology, reduce operational costs, attract and retain employees, or drive productivity. But unfortunately, businesses usually fail to consider the unique challenges for virtual team leaders and team members.
Through our own research, we learned that there are key factors that need to be addressed to make a virtual team successful and that organizations who recognize these unique needs and invest in ongoing training and support, will realize the benefits of virtual teams.
So we are thrilled to announce the launch of PRC’s Virtual Team Academy. It’s a one-stop site for all training, resources, and support for virtual teams. We have been working with clients for years to train virtual team leaders and teams, and we’re happy to share our knowledge. On the site, you’ll find our virtual team blogs, opportunities for virtual team training, communication plans, research on virtual teams, and of course, links to Virtual Teams for Dummies, the bestselling book by CEO Tara Powers. For example, check out this free infographic on Connection Ideas for Virtual Teams that you can download from the site.
In addition to the content and resources we provide, we plan to evolve the site into a community for our clients and supporters to engage with us and contribute to the learning with their own feedback on virtual team best practices and success.
New content will be added to our Virtual Team Academy over the months to come, so check back often!
