PRC CEO Named 2020 Woman to Watch from ColoradoBiz Magazine
July 25, 2020

It’s been a roller-coaster these past five months and it shows no sign of letting up.
As experts in remote work, the response to the coronavirus pandemic has dominated our work. It has also allowed us to share our extensive experience and support the new, often unprepared, remote workers of the world.
In the midst of all this uncertainty and disruption, we are honored to share some good news –our CEO Tara Powers has been recognized as a 2020 Woman to Watch by Colorado Biz Magazine (see page 46). The award recognizes Colorado women CEOs, startup founders and strategists who are making an impact in every industry, enterprise and workplace as they inspire the next generation of women in business.
As an expert in virtual work and the author of Virtual Teams for Dummies, Working From Home for Dummies (to be released September 16, 2020), and founder of virtualteamacademy.com, PRC has had an extremely busy year supporting the new remote workforce. As Powers discusses in the ColoradoBiz Magazine article, “we knew the new world of virtual work was coming, but we never expected it to happen overnight.”
In the announcement, Powers discussed the rise of the virtual worker and the rapid response to the pandemic. We are proud to be able to share our experience and knowledge with remote teams and leaders during this global health crisis, and we are confident that we can emerge from this disruption even stronger by learning new skills that reinforce community and connection with our teams.
Congrats to all the other women leaders recognized by ColoradoBiz Magazine. It’s an honor to be recognized among you!
