I am proud to announce that Powers Resource Center won the ICON Contributor Award this past weekend at the OnCon ICON Awards ceremony in Orlando, FL!

The Contributor Award recognizes value to the industry through thought sharing, elevating the strategic value of human resources and delivering creative solutions for the challenges facing businesses.

I was so honored to accept the award. It is always a great feeling to be recognized for your work and spending time connecting with other industry leaders is invaluable. It is also a significant motivator for me to continue my work in helping leaders and teams learn to connect. As I said in my acceptance speech, the power of WE is what transforms companies and teams. I believe passionately that in this increasingly disconnected, impersonal work environment, it will be the organizations that recognize the importance of human connection and emotional intelligence that will rise to the top. 

As a nominee for three ICON awards (Contributor, plus Trailblazer and Leadership) I was treated to a red carpet entrance, cocktail hour, live entertainment, dinner, awards ceremony, and post awards reception party.
